REFERENCE BOOKS MADE AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS DURING THE SUBATOMIC PARTICLE CURRICULUM UNIT:

This author currently teaches in a school district where most students show respect for the personal property of a teacher. During the subatomic curriculum unit, the author keeps several of his personal reference books on the front cabinet in his classroom. The books have been selected, in most cases, for their photos and diagrams. Additionally, many of these books have information in them which relates directly to the cosmic ray video, the cloud chamber lab, the supernova video or to the AMANDA Project neutrino research. Students are encouraged by this author to use the books during cooperative learning group project time or after school. As of this writing, the author's book selection includes the following:
