As a result of
certain reviews, publicity, & notoriety, Metal men were invited
to "appear" on HOUR NORTHWEST, an afternoon talk show
hosted by former MATCH GAME host Ross Shafer.
Some guys came
out & filmed us at Eric's house, then we played live on the
show.
Ross's other guests
that day were the famous astronaut Alan Shepard, the first US
astronaut in space, and who later walked on the moon, and Ernestine
Anderson, the famous jazz singer...
Ross wouldn't even
look at us after the show....
The guys on the
crew said that sometimes their ratings were below the competition
: Darkwing Duck
The ticket sat
on the dashboard of my van from May of 1995 until November of
2000, when I scanned it...
